Motorcyclist dead after 2-vehicle crash near Ellsworth

One person is dead and another is hospitalized after a crash in eastern McLean County.

Authorities say a sedan and motorcycle collided at 7:32 a.m. Thursday in rural Blue Mound Township at 2600 East and 1500 North Road near Ellsworth.

Robert B. Rish, 38, of Anchor was pronounced dead at the scene. A juvenile male, whose identity has not been released, was driving the sedan was transported by ambulance to Carle BroMenn Medical Center in Normal with minor injuries.

The McLean County Sheriff's Office is conducting an investigation.
