A man shot Tuesday afternoon in the parking lot of the Casey's on Fox Creek Road in south Bloomington has died.
The Champaign County coroner confirmed Van Wilson, 57, of Bloomington, was pronounced dead in the emergency department of Carle Hospital in Urbana at 8:58 p.m. Tuesday.
In a statement Wednesday, a spokesperson for the Bloomington Police said Deshaun Bussell, 25, of Bloomington, has been arrested in connection with the shooting. Bussell is currently detained in McLean County, facing preliminary charges of murder and aggravated battery.
