The Green Top Grocery Co-Op is trying to put recent controversy aside with a new board.

Owners of the Green Top Grocery Co-op have elected a new board after social media upheaval contributed to the resignation of the entire board last month.

On Saturday morning, 403 valid ballots were counted by an election facilitation team and owners were notified later in the day.

Three people will serve a three-year term: Alejandro Enriquez, Dennis Killian, and Noah Tang. Three people will serve a two-year term: Maurice Betts, Erin Ripley-Gataric, and Nora Visscher-Simon. And two people will serve a one-year term: Joe Strano, Joe McDonnell, and Emma Meyer.

The board for the grocery store on Washington Street will be installed July 28.
