Bloomington Police collect evidence from the scene of a shooting in the 1600 block of Iowa St.

The 20-year-old was pronounced dead at OSF HealthCare St. Joseph Medical Center in Bloomington, authorities said. His name has not been released.

Two other men, ages 27 and 22, were in critical condition Monday night, police said.

Fermon said police believe the shootings happened outside.

“It looks like it was out in the street, just from where the evidence is located,” Fermon said. “The circumstances are unknown.”

Fermon said police have not identified any suspects and have not recovered any weapons.

Officers cordoned off several homes along Iowa Street with police tape as they collected evidence and interviewed potential witnesses.

Police also closed several blocks of Euclid Avenue near the scene of the shooting. They expect the road to remain closed until about 6 p.m.
