A 29-year-old El Paso woman was killed Monday in a crash on Interstate 39 in Hudson.
Kacee L. Vassallo was a passenger in a vehicle that collided Monday morning with a semitractor trailer on southbound I-39, said McLean County Coroner Kathy Davis. Vassallo later died in the Advocate BroMenn Medical Center emergency room, she said.
Preliminary autopsy findings indicate Vassallo died of multiple blunt-force injuries from the crash, Davis said. The driver of the automobile was treated at a local hospital.
This crash remains under investigation by the coroner’s office and Illinois State Police.
