McLean County Sheriff Matt Lane said sheriff’s deputies were called shortly atter 3:30 p.m. to the area of 18351 Kickapoo Lane in rural Hudson where a man had fallen into the lake and could not get out.

The McLean County coroner said a pedestrian was struck and killed Thursday morning by a pickup truck on Interstate 55 near Shirley.

One man died Saturday after a two-vehicle crash at an intersection on the west side of Bloomington.

Brooke E. Powell, 37, of LeRoy was reportedly pronounced dead at the scene of the accident near LeRoy.

The McLean County coroner says the 69-year-old from Hudson apparently died from a medical event while driving. His vehicle veered off the road and crashed.

Mayah Butzmann of Maple Park was pronounced dead at 12:46 a.m. Monday at Carle BroMenn Medical Center in Normal, following a crash on Sunday, said McLean County Coroner Kathy Yoder.

The cause of death for the 34-year-old man is pending further investigation, according to a news release from McLean County Coroner Kathy Yoder.

A two-vehicle crash involving a parked service vehicle along Interstate 55 west of Bloomington left one person dead and sent another to the hospital on Tuesday, according to preliminary reports from the Illinois State Police.

Stephany Flores-Ramirez faces four felony counts of aggravated driving under the influence after the SUV carrying her son as a passenger crossed into oncoming traffic; 8-year-old Raymundo Bucio Flores did not survive.

According to McLean County court records, Gabrielle Stine of Bloomington faces charges of first-degree murder and aggravated kidnapping in connection with the killing of Jamere Bew last November.
