Embassy Bombing Trial Continues
NPR's Melissa Block reports on testimony at the New York trial of four men accused of being a part of the bombing attack on U-S embassies in Tanzania and Kenya in 1998. An FBI investigator described how one defendant claimed he was supposed to die a martyr's death in the blast. Several African victims told their stories of nearly dying under the rubble.

Macedonian Albanian Militants
Three Yugoslavian soldiers were killed by a landmine in southern Serbia, as tensions continue between Serbian forces and Ethnic Albanian guerrillas. Yugoslav soliders are in place in an attempt to halt the violence between the two sides. Linda Wertheimer talks about the situation with BBC reporter Paul Wood.
California Power Supply
NPR's Elaine Korry reports that Calfornia's power shortage will likely worsen when summer heat has residents turning on air conditioning. The state's govenor is relying on energy conservation to keep consumption in line with demand.
