The mayoral candidates for the April 1 election in the Town of Normal and the City of Bloomington attended a town hall meeting Saturday hosted by the McLean County Republicans.

Bloomington-Normal candidates for next April's municipal elections have begun filing their nominating petitions.

A third candidate has entered the race for mayor of Bloomington. Ward 6 Council member Cody Hendricks made his announcement at the electrical workers union hall on Tuesday. He joins current Mayor Mboka Mwilambwe and former State Rep. Dan Brady in the race.
