Government efforts to address the Bloomington-Normal housing shortage are a work in progress. Every little effort to make it more attractive to develop helps.

The Normal Town Council approved a new ordinance Monday that will expand the boundaries of the Bloomington-Normal Enterprise Zone to include 320 acres along Rivian Motorway. The zone offers financial incentives for economic development within its boundaries.
