Jerry Sandage

Jerald Sandage was initially charged with official misconduct, accused of abusing his access to police records. That led to a police investigation uncovering evidence he'd used those records to track, drug and sexually assault as many as four women.

Jerald Sandage had a 2022 conviction overturned alleging official misconduct. He was also charged with criminal sexual assault, accused of targeting by accessing police records while he was employed as a university police officer in Champaign-Urbana. A jury this week convicted Sandage a second time.
