Bloomington man, 19, dies in crash in southeast Bloomington

The McLean County coroner identified the victim as Rowan Rumley, 19, of Bloomington.

Authorities say one person is dead after a crash Friday night in southeast Bloomington.

The crash happened just after 7 p.m. near Ireland Grove Road and Hershey Road, Bloomington Police said. The driver of the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene.

McLean County Coroner Kathy Yoder identified the victim as Rowan Rumley, 19, of Bloomington.

Yoder said preliminary autopsy shows Rumley died after his vehicle struck a concrete barrier. Rumley was the only person in the vehicle. Toxicology tests are pending. The crash is still under investigation.
