A Bloomington man has died from his injuries suffered in a Friday afternoon crash in southeast Bloomington.

James Shepherd, 42, of Bloomington, was one of two drivers injured in the crash between a pickup and a sedan around 4:53 p.m. Friday at Morrissey Drive and Woodrig Road, Bloomington Police said.

Shepherd was transferred to OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria, where he later died from his injuries, authorities said Monday.

The other driver, who was not identified, was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

Bloomington Police, the McLean County Accident Reconstruction Team, and the Peoria County coroner's office are investigating.
