A 27-year-old Bloomington man died after a two-vehicle traffic crash early Thursday north of Lincoln.

Kyrnn Schupbach was killed in the crash that happened shortly before 2:30 a.m. on Old Route 66 near 1500th Avenue. That's about 25 miles southwest of Bloomington-Normal.

The driver of the other vehicle was taken to an area hospital. That person’s condition was not known.

Schupbach was a Normal West grad who enjoyed fishing, music, learning about history, and walking the Constitutional Trail, according to his obituary.

Illinois State Police say the crash remains under investigation and there is no additional information available at this time.
