A Carlock teen has died after he was struck earlier this month by a vehicle at night on a rural road.
Authorities say Dylan Burroughs, 18, was a pedestrian when he was hit near County Road 825 East and 2100 North in rural Carlock on the night of July 7. McLean County sheriff's deputies were called to the scene at 9:21 p.m.
McLean County Coroner Kathy Yoder said Burroughs died at 10:28 a.m. Wednesday at Carle BroMenn Medical Center in Norma due to head injuries, based on preliminary autopsy findings.
McLean County Sheriff Matt Lane said the crash remains under investigation.
