A Bloomington man has died several days after a single-vehicle crash on Sept. 20.

Bloomington police and fire responded to the 1000 block of Hinshaw Avenue in Bloomington around 5:15 a.m. on Sept. 20. Officials say a vehicle traveling north on Hinshaw left the roadway and hit a utility pole.

The front seat passenger, Travis Floyd, 22, was transported to Carle BroMenn Medical Center with life-threatening injuries and later died at 9:24 a.m. on Sept. 24.

Other occupants in the vehicle are reported to have suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

The crash remains under investigation. Officials are unsure at this point what caused the vehicle to leave the roadway.
