A 26-year-old man is dead after a single-vehicle crash early Sunday just southeast of Bloomington.
Brendan E. Taylor of Bloomington was the driver and only occupant of an SUV that crashed around 2:35 a.m. Sunday near U.S. 150 (Morrissey Drive) and Chrisman Lane, between Bloomington and Downs.
Preliminary autopsy opinion indicates Taylor died from multiple blunt injuries when the SUV left the roadway, went into a culvert, rolled over and he was ejected. Toxicology testing is pending.
The McLean County Coroner's Office and Illinois State Police are investigating.
