A 20-year-old man is dead after a motorcycle crash on Interstate 55 in Normal on Saturday night, authorities said.
The crash happened around 7:30 p.m. on northbound I-55 near mile marker 167, which is the Veterans Parkway exit, according to McLean County Coroner Kathleen Yoder. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
His name has not yet been released. An autopsy is scheduled for Monday.
This incident remains under investigation by the McLean County coroner’s office and Illinois State Police.
