At Friday's board of trustees meeting, ISU's administration will seek approval of a plan to spend no more than $17.5 million to purchase property at 1709 and 1711 G.E. Road in Bloomington. The Illinois Board of Higher Education recently approved Illinois State University's curricula for mechanical, electrical and general engineering. It's one more step in the process of opening the College of Engineering that is expected to enroll its first students in the fall of 2025.
