A 72-year-old woman has died in a house fire in Saybrook, according to the McLean County Sheriff’s Department. The McLean County Coroner has not yet released the name of the woman pronounced dead Friday afternoon.
Several rural fire departments had responded to the scene on West Oak Street in the eastern McLean County town.
