The number of mail in ballots received in the Town of Normal Mayor's race is up to eighteen, according to the McLean County Clerk's office.

13 came in the day after the election and another five on Thursday.

Mayor Chris Koos has a seven vote lead over challenger Marc Tiritilli.

Clerk Kathy Michael said she will count the ballots April 18th, the deadline for ballots postmarked by election day to be received at the clerk's office.

Tiritilli said on election night he would ask for a recount if the margin holds.
