Dominique Atwater, 26, faces a $200,000 following his arrest on seven felony counts.

The charges includes four counts of aggravated discharge of a firearm and one count of each aggravated battery, reckless discharge of a firearm, and aggravated unlawful use of a weapon.

A female shooting vicitm told police she was walking out of the building when the shooting started and she was struck in the leg, according to documents prosecutors presented in court.

A witness told authorities he was in an apartment with Atwater when "guys showed up and started shooting" and that Atwater started shooting back.

The witness said the other victim was shot in the hallway. He said he heard people trying to kick in his front door after after he opened it an unknown male suspect started shooting and struck the other victim.

Prosecutors say Atwater drove both shooting victims to the Advocate BroMenn Medical Center.  Authorities have not released any information about the extent of their injuries.

Associate Judge Sarah Duffy set Atwater's bond at $200,000.

He is due back in court for an arraignment Aug. 23.

Bloomington Police have not made any other arrests in the case. They have refused to provide any details about the case, citing an ongoing investigation.
