Bloomington Police are asking for the public's help finding an 18-year-old murder suspect who is considered armed and dangerous.
Scotty Allen, also known as "30," is wanted in connection with the April 2 fatal shooting of Juan Nash on Orchard Road.
Allen, of Bloomington, was described as a black male, approximately 5-foot-8 and 160 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He was wounded in the Orchard Road shooting.
"Allen should be considered to be armed and dangerous," Bloomington Police said in a statement. "Please do not approach Scotty Allen. Call 911 or the local police if he is seen."
Two Other Suspects
Earlier Tuesday, authorities announced two arrests in the Orchard Road slaying.
Exodus Herbert, 18, of Bloomington, and Amari McNabb, 22, of Country Club Hills, were arrested Monday on first-degree murder charges.
Nash was found unresponsive in a crashed vehicle two blocks from the shooting scene. The McLean County coroner cited gunshot wounds as the cause of death.
Allen, Herbert, and McNabb also face charges of mob action and aggravated discharge of a firearm.
Herbert and McNabb are being held on $2 million bond. Herbert was already serving time in McLean County jail on a separate weapons case.
Those with information about Allen's whereabouts are asked to contact Detective Jared Bierbaum at (309) 434-2807, or call McLean County Crime Stoppers at (309) 828-1111.
